About Us

​Mission Statement

The Housing Partnership of Chester County (HPCC) assists low-to-moderate income individuals and families in the acquisition and retention of long-term attainable housing in Chester County, helping to create and grow safe, stable communities.

​What Makes Us Different

​The Housing Partnership offers a diverse catalog of programs and services each related to housing and home ownership issues, including financial literacy and credit counseling. We take a unique, holistic approach to solving problems by integrating programs, often with a multi-stepped curriculum that educates and empowers clients.

​​Our Accomplishments

​The many accomplishments the Housing Partnership has achieved since our opening in 1988:​​
  • ​Coordinated 600 settlements for first time home buyers representing $3.9 million in financial assistance.
  • Completed $6.6 million in home repairs for homeowners in Chester County.
  • Completed over 645 weatherization and home maintenance projects for Senior Citizens at a cost of $3.2 million.
  • Made 270 homes accessible for persons with disabilities / mobility limitations utilizing $3.4 million in grant funding.
  • Helped approximately 23,500 clients improve their credit worthiness.
  • Conducted pre-purchase workshops with over 6,080 first time homebuyer participants.
  • ​Conducted financial literacy workshops in 7 school districts / 11 high schools.
  • Purchased, renovated and sold 13 distressed properties to first time homebuyers.
  • Held offsite outreach programs counseling 3,881 people on financial literacy, budgeting and home buying at 221 sites.
  • Aided 61 households with winter fuel assistance since the pandemic.
